Hello! My name is Lichelle Watne. I am originally from Wisconsin. I am the proud mother of one son. I live on a five acre ranch and enjoy riding my horses and running with my dogs. I have lived in Wisconsin, Minnesota, California, Colorado and Utah.
After high school, I graduated from Minnesota State University, Mankato with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary education and a minor in French. I graduated from Chapman University, Orange County, California with a Master of Arts degree in curriculum & instruction and an endorsement in English as a Second Language. I also graduated from University of Phoenix with a license in educational leadership.
I have 20+ years of educational experience as assistant principal, dean of instruction, educational consultant, principal, district math coach, instructional coach, and classroom teacher. I have extensive background in high-risk & highly impacted schools. I specialize in educational leadership in teaching & learning and curriculum & instruction. I value data and appropriate use of assessment. I have extensive knowledge in teaching mathematics, educational research, best instructional practices and varied assessment practices. I have impacted more than 30 schools in Utah!
