Master Sergeant Michael Graham was born on 5 September 1965 in Nashua, New Hampshire. He enlisted in the United States Marine Corp on 17 December 1984. MSG Graham received his Basic Training at Marine Corp Recruit Depot, San Diego California, and Advanced Individual Training at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina where he was trained as an Engineer Equipment Mechanic and received the MOS of 1341. He was Honorably Discharged in Dec of 1990 and enlisted into the Utah Army National Guard in May 1991 as a 13B Artilleryman
His duty positions include, Ammunition Team Chief, Gunner, Howitzer Section Chief, Readiness NCO, Gunnery Sergeant, Battalion Operations Sergeant, He has served at 640th RTI as a Small group Leader, Senior Small Group Leader, FA Battalion NCOIC, BSNCOC Branch Chief and his most recent Position as the Deputy Commandant for 1st Bn. He deployed to Iraq with the 148th and the 145th FA Battalions in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom from 2005-2006 and 2007-2008. He Currently resides with His Wife Sandee in Eagle Mountain, Utah
His military and civilian education includes Primary Leadership Development Course, Basic Non-commissioned Officer Course, the Advanced Non-commissioned Officer Course, First Sergeant Course, Battle Staff Non Commissioned Course, and The Sergeants Major Academy. He holds Associates in Business Degree.
