Utah Military Academy does not discriminate on the basis of sex and prohibits sex discrimination in any education program or activity that it operates, as required by Title IX, including in admission and employment.

1. Pursuant to Utah State Law 53G-8-802, State Safety and Support Program, UMA is committed to maintaining a school climate that is free of harassment and discrimination.
2. Accordingly, UMA prohibits discrimination, harassment and retaliation in its education programs or activities.
3. UMA will ensure its educational environment is free from Discrimination and any form of Harassment, where no student or employee is excluded from participating in its programs based on race, religion, color, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, disability status, genetic information, or other legally other legally protected status.
4. The administration and all employees will ensure no person shall be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to Discrimination under any education program or activity offered by UMA.
5. UMA prohibits Harassment of any kind and will take appropriate and immediate action in response to complaints or knowledge of harassment in order to halt harassment practices and incidents and will take appropriate disciplinary measures, which may include separation of parties, suspension of students, rearrangement of departmental design or termination of employment.
